The Rotary Club of Woodstock was officially chartered on Monday, April 22, 1968 with a membership of thirty-one (31) individuals. More than 350 Rotarians from around the region and friends of Rotary attended the Charter ceremonies, held at the Moose Lodge in Woodstock. Today there are 1.2 million Rotarians in clubs around the world.

In Woodstock, nearly 50 community members and leaders make up The Rotary Club of Woodstock. Each year, the club gives grants to local nonprofits; hosts exchange students from all over the world; gives academic and vocational scholarships and organizes Christmas Clearing House (CCH.)

The club also focuses on fellowship and fun through its weekly meetings, First Friday socials and field trips.
